2022 Lexus UX 250h Luxury

OVERVIEW
Lexus serves up a substantial menu of its UX model lineup with various powertrains and trim choices. Essentially, the Lexus UX lineup is a compact 5 passenger SUV or crossover if you prefer, in either gas or hybrid power form that’s available in either FWD or AWD. Reviewed here is the Hybrid version in Luxury trim, which is the smallest and most affordable Lexus hybrid model.
AVAILABLE TRIMS
The 2022 Lexus UX 250h is sold in three levels of trim: base, F-Sport and Luxury. All are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired to a hybrid system that provides a total of 181 horsepower. All-wheel drive is standard, along with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT)

LUXURIOUSNESS INSIDE AND OUT

The interior of the UX 250h is extremely inviting and comfortable with a host of features that add to one’s driving pleasure. The only drawback is limited rear seat room with tall front seat occupants. Oh, and the entertainment system could benefit from being more intuitive and user friendly.
PERFORMANCE
The 2022 Lexus UX 250h is not a rocketship, but acceleration is certainly more than adequate, and is actually quite satisfying. The CVT gear changes perceptible but smooth and the handling characteristics lean to the sporty side of the equation.
