The most powerful street-legal Ford Bronco ever built – the Bronco Raptor. Ford motor company said it’s capable under the harshest of off-road environments.
The Bronco Raptor is a calling to hardcore off-road enthusiasts. It’s the world’s first ultra racing-inspired SUV and it’s designed and engineered for desert racing and rock crawling. Even hard-core early Bronco owners are taking the newest version very seriously.
How does the Raptor version of the Bronco take off-roading and rock crawling to the next level?
The Bronco Raptor has an upgraded 3.0 liter turbocharged 400 horsepower engine and a 10-speed transmission. Still, frankly, it’s the massive 37-inch stock tires with Beadlock wheels along with the swollen fender flares that set it apart. It also sits 8.6 inches wider than the current bronco for better stability on the dirt. Add in a 4.0 fox-developed suspension lift, and this Bronco now has 13.1 inches of ground clearance, meaning you’ll clear any obstacle.
Combined with all that power, the Bronco Raptor uses a competition-level drivetrain, and for the hardcore rock crawler, the Bronco Raptor comes with electric locking differentials on the front and rear.
To enhance your off-roading experience, Ford integrated a 360-degree camera with off-road views, Ford trail control that allows the bronco to make even tighter turns, and Ford’s now famous G.O.A.T. mode that stands for go over any terrain. Unfortunately, this car is in high demand, and the wait for this is going to weed out the fair-weather fans. Starting at $73,780
